So we have all read about the Bell storm being delayed anyone have any ideas about the Telus launch this week?

I've heard anywhere from tomorrow to Friday. I don't think theres going to be any warning, they're just going to email the people who have signed up the day of. Just a hunch of course

With all the bad reviews, I am going to wait a while before anyway before I even entertain purchasing a Telus Storm. What I would really be interested in is what version of the BB OS are we going to get.

There are just too many people having too many problems with the Storm. If Telus is coming out with the Bold in January, I may well wait for that Unit.

I second that. The best strategy now is wait and see. Oh, and hope for an after-the-holidays discount :-)

With telus releasing their prices on their website, the storm is near. I hear its Monday the 8th (blackberry cool) but like most, ill wait till all...er....most of the bugs are worked out and after the hype has settled down and Telus is looking to increase sales after the Christmas rush, ill be heading down to my local cell shop to pick one up. Love the idea of bell coming out with the phone shortly after too. Good competition is great for my wallet. The idea of GSM being unlocked and used in Canada doesn't hurt overall cost to consumers either.

You heard the GSM portion will be unlocked on the telus unit? where did you hear that?

Not the Telus unit, 9530, the 9500 GSM only from Europe. It's still unclear if Telus will allow the GSM portion of their 9530 to be unlocked or freely give out unlock codes. Time will tell that. Sorry. Should have been more clear in my previous post.
