Default Blackberry storm questions... - 12-07-2008, 08:25 PM

Hello everyone im new to this forum. I have a bb pearl and im thinking of upgrading to storm. Now im with t-mobile so i was wondering if i could go to verizon and buy the phone itself? i tried with at&t for the iphone and they are not willing to sell the phone itself. I would love to own a storm and unlock it for t-mobile use. How would i make this work? Im asking here before i waste my time going to verizon. Thanks for any reply's!

the only way that's going to work is if you're the primary account holder for the person you're gifting it too. I've tried it before. Hasn't worked. They can only give you a phone that they've activated on the spot for you.

Secondly... they now have verizonwireless gift cards. So that'll be the other option they give you. :/

Your best bet would be to go to ebay. You might even get some great accessories/deals with that purchase.

If you purchase it from verizon wireless... you're gonna get it for full price. Might as well just wait for one close to full price on ebay. Give or take 50 bucks... and you should be set.

i dont think they sell one without a contract. however you could buy one for 250 then just cancel the contract for 200 and then only be into it for 450 but you will get 50 back from the mail in rebate.. dont know if that would work but maybe you would need to do some research..
