"My Number:" - how to change?
 

on the phone screen - the My number # isn't my phone # - how do you change it?

i have already changed the SIM # to my correct #.

you are using a 9530 i assume not with vzw? ##000000 in the phone dialer should take you to the CDMA programming menu and brows around till you see the spot there with phone number info.

Did you press the green talk button and then dial ##and six zero's and hit talk again?

Huh...mine never asked for a password...

Mine too asks for a passwork. It says invalid when I enter ##000000.... FFS.

The 6 0's is the password for Verizon. I don't know the password for Rogers? I would google the carrier is for ESN password if I was you. Good luck. If I find it I will post.

hey, i don't get it, i keep getting to that menu, and i am changing my number, the first and second line of it, so twice, BUT i can't exit.

everytime i exit, it asks me if i wanna "discard changes" and when i hit "no" it just takes me to the screen again. how do i do a save???

nevermind...im an idiot. im so used to just hitting the "return" key and expecting it to ask me to save....lol.

for everyone else that needs to know. hit the menu key, and hit save....then the phone reboots and its all good!

I had the same problem with my BB Curve 8530
 

The code I used was ##219010 maybe that will help, just change the first number to the correct number and then push the BB menu button then click save and then the BB will reset itself.. hope this helps :bb:

i think i have this problem also... i am now with orange, and have kept my number from o2. my number changed over today, but the phone is still showing the number orange gave me. is there any way of changing this to the number ive kept?? i have the curve 8520 :)

I followed the instructions of ##000000 to change the My Number info...yet the changes cannot be saved. What can I do? Thanks in advance

AFter you type in the number did you hit the menu key and select "save" as the poster above suggested?
