Rustproofcorn is on to something. Don't get me wrong I'm very happy that BB put out, and VZW sent us, an update a week after release. But, how can you release a "Phone" with so many bugs? Lab testing? Come on. Anybody who tested the phone for more than 5 minutes learned that it was slow in some functions. I have noticed a lot of people have mentioned the bug in the phone app where you press answer, either the hardware button or touch screen, and the phone mutes for a second then goes back to ringing. You sometimes have to press it two or three times before it will hopefully answer. Now there is a flaw that makes the unit barely functional. Or is it more an email device, and less a phone?
We have somehow come to expect to receive buggy products from manufactures, and I think that's tragic. If the first generation doesn't work the consumer should turn their back on V.2. But no, we continue to plop down our hard earned dollars to be the beta testers for companies.
Don't get me wrong I really like my Storm. But an update to square away a couple of functionality issues would be good. New features, add-ons, ehh... But functionality should win out over pride. We gave them our money, they owe us a functional product.
