Default clearing the call log

can someone tell me how to "delete" or "clear" the call log?

i know there was a post on here before, and i tried using what it said, but it did not work for me. not looking to use DM either, as i think there is a way to clear it on the phone, i just haven't figured it out yet.

On your BlackBery > Messages Folder > Menu > View Folders > Phone Call Logs > scroll to the top last date bar at the top > Menu > Delete ALL PRIOR.

Don't be afraid to play with custom searches to help streamline your managing of your messages, etc.

Open the messages application, blackberry menu key, choose search, then the blackberry menu key, recall. There you can put all your custom searches along with several already in there for you (MMS Messages, SMS Messages, Phone Calls, Incoming messages, etc). After setting some up, when you are Messages, just use ALT + shortcut key (the ALT is is the "!?123" key)
