I keep getting a message on my home screen that says "sim card error". What's the deal with that?

I get the same error too but the phone works fine even with the error displaying. Turning the phone off then back on clears the message...

Same here... Phone works fine. Just kind of annoying to have the message there all the time. A restart clears it for a while, but it just comes back.

I had same problem and called tech support. they turned on global network to take the message away. woohoo! ( I really dont know why i am so excited. It doesnt make a difference to me right now)
