After upgrading to the 4.7.0.75 software I am required to pull the battery on a daily basis. If a soft reset (battery pull) is not done, the hour glass just appears on the phone until I pull the battery. During this time I can not answer/make calls, SMS texts and emails can come in, but I can not view them, nor respond. And of course no applications will run. I have tried to install the soft reset application and the quickpull application but they do not seem to work on my BB. (It may because of the BES security policies that are in place) Is this happening to anyone else to this severity? Any suggestions to resolve the issue or minimum reduce the frequency of the battery pulls?

That is a hard reset you are performing. As far as I know, there are no soft resets for the BB Storm.

I noticed that when you install a new app, it will ask you if you want to reboot now or later. So obviously, there is a way to reboot (not turn off and on) the phone without having to pull the battery. Also, let's say, we choose to reboot later option, how the hell do we go to reboot later?
