I just did a wipe (want to clean install the OS) w/ JL Commander. It worked, I think, but it was hella fast. I was just assuming it would take a minute or two to format the phone (or to do whatever it does). Instead, I selected wipe, typed in blackberry, and like in a few seconds it was done and jl commander was back at the home screen.

Phone appeared to be wiped as the white screen came up after reboot, however, upon firing up the loader file for the os, it shows the system software as "update" which makes me think it's still on there. The core files do show as "install" which seems right.

At any rate, is the process really that quick, or did I do something wrong?

It's that fast..... Should only take a second or 2....
