Hey Guys,

I have a few question. I just bought the storm and it is arriving on the 24 (merry xmass to me!) this is my first blackberry, so I am dong some research before it arrives this way I can hit the ground running with it.
It seems that the big issues is the OS. So Im wondering what OS is going to come pre installed??? And what OS should I be running, some say .83 is really good or some say .76 is just fine. Second, how do I update the OS, do I have to update the OS via my computer or can I do an update "over the air." Lastly, is there anyone that synced up the storm with Ubuntu?? Because that is the OS im using for all my computers, I dont own a Windows machine.

Thanks

Read the upgrade thread to the Latest OS at the top of this 9500 section... instructions, etc., all you need to know about upgrading.

I just got mine last week and it came with .75. I have had no issues so far with mine. I love it

Mine has been extremely responsive. There have been a couple of times where it takes a couple of seconds to respond but I am not going to complain.

I received my Storm this past Tuesday. It also came with .75 as well. So far it has been very responsive. BUT, there has been a couple of occasions where it took a few seconds to respond.

I think it would be nice if we got a hour glass on anything for when the Storm is "thinking/working"- that way we know it's doing stuff but may take a few moments.

All in all a great device.

Oh, and this is my first Blackberry!!
