Exclamation !!! Calling All Telus Reps !!!

Hey guys,

I got a BB Storm from Telus and I'm spending my holiday season in San Diego. Is there anyways that a rep out there can hook me up with my unlock code?

I spent 4 hours this morning trying to get a rep to crack, but no luck!

Really? That's unfortunate. From what I can VZ has a set black and white process in place (they look at your length of service, whether your a good revenue producing customer, and flight risk to another carrier). If you pass, they unlock your phone. If you don't, they won't unlock your phone. I called VZW and my phone was unlocked in 20 minutes.

I've heard Voda's process is even more progressive.

One would think Telus would have a similar process.

Verizon gave me my unlock code after 5 hours of becoming their customer.

Mine was unlocked when I got it straight from RIM.

Do you people not read the title to the thread, or the posts within them? The OP is asking about unlock codes for the Telus (Canada) Storm.

Telus WILL NOT give out unlock codes, regardless of tenure, and BB's in Canada cannot (to my knowledge) be purchased directly from RIM, even though they're a Canadian company.

It's nice the Verizon will do that for you folks, but it just doesn't apply here. Sheesh!
