What kind of case do you use for your Storm?

Which case do you have for your 9530? I am trying to decide what to get.

Case

Modified Curve case. Its bigger and I can use the rubber sleeve on the phone. Just had to add a magnet inside to put the storm to sleep. Pretty easy.(y)

Where is the magnetic sensor in the storm located?

larryw 12-22-2008 02:36 PM

Yes, I'd like to know where the magnet sensor is as well (I just ran a magnet across the front and back of my Storm and it stayed awake).

To the poll: All three. I use the VZ sleeve and the belt holster from my previous 8830 and hit the lock.

I bought the leather belt clip case, so far so good, it's a tight fit but I guess it will loosen up.
But never sure whether it should be screen facing in or out?
Or whether there is a right/wrong way

Bought the vertical pouch case with magnetic clasp as well it fit better with screen facing in......but like the stock 8330 curve case better. just put it in with screen out and the clasp closes perfect. ( i have a good aftermarket screen protector...zagg)

Have the premium leather belt clip thingy... works great, screen facing in or out, puts the thing in lock mode every time. Nice fit too.

center front or back. It has to be a very strong magnet. try to put the magnet on the front of the screen while its on and see if it goes off. I went to a hobby store and got some 3/4 magnets.

No case. It spoils the whole look of the device. I love it in its natural form and body ;-)

Well I have a Dooney and Bourke case for my Storm. But I am waiting for my rubberized case and IS so I have something to hold it in for work and stuff.

Maskerade 12-23-2008 07:24 AM

I use my pockets

I think everyone likes the natural form and body of a young and... wait... you meant the BB right? lol

I installed the ZAGG Invisible Shield and it is awesome! It takes about 30 mins to install and then you need to let the phone sit overnight but it is well worth it.

When I received my 'first' Storm I used the case that was supplied with the phone but within a few hours I had lost the green answer button off the front.
Mine was the 3rd Storm to be returned to the Vodafone shop with exactly the same problem due to the buttons catching the edge of the case.

Hoghead 12-23-2008 03:25 PM

I use a red silicone cover and a HTC case.

Kopter 12-23-2008 03:35 PM

Seidio spring clip.
Invisible shield body cover.

PHLAK 12-24-2008 12:25 AM

Everyone knows it's a better experience without the rubber! ^_^

StuartV 12-24-2008 09:17 AM

I received my Seidio spring clip holster yesterday and, once again, it is a high quality piece of kit. I like it a lot better than the belt clip holster my brother got from Verizon with his Storm.

Blackberry Guru 12-24-2008 11:27 AM

Seidio spring clip holster

I have a pink rubberized case for now.
