Default Syncing the storm with mac

Please Login to Remove!

I've seen that a few other people have this problem, but I was wondering if there was a definite solution for this yet.

I downloaded PocketMac and installed the driver update, but when I try to sync, it gives me an "(error 1); skipping." message.

Does anyone know for sure how to correct this?

Pocket Mac = Junk!

I highly recommend BlackBerry Sync Mac - Sync contacts, calendars, notes, playlists and photos

It is worth the $39.95 and not only syncs great, it is very fast! ... I use it to keep my music, pictures and documents in sync as well.

Ya i have to say that pocketmac is pretty worthless. i got music photos and ringtones on my storm by just putting them on my memory card but i dont want to have to have 2 different calenders so i may have to invest in the Sync Mac.

Pocket Mac is kinda worthless. It's worth the $39.95 if you are a mac only person.

Default I had same problem and fixed it

After installing pocketmac, restarting, installing update, restarting pocketmac would not sync.
Fix: Install pocketmac. when finished DO NOT RESTART MAC! just hit quit and then install the update. Once that is finished allow your mac to restart. After that open sync then connect your storm and it should work... at least it did for me. If you have already installed pocketmac just use the uninstaller provided with the install and start over.

Oh yea, I am using Mac OS X 10.4.11

BlackBerry Sync Mac - Sync contacts, calendars, notes, playlists and photos Missing Sync, the best way to go, except for application loading, unfortunately.

For me Missing Sync works perfectly. PocketMac is junk all the way. I use it with my Storm with no issues.

I've never tried the app loading, for some reason I thought Missing Sync didn't have an Application Loader counterpart. I guess I'll have to take a look.

EDIT- I mean that Missing Sync doesn't seem to have an Application Loader program like the Desktop Manager program does on Windows. It seems as if the people at RIM have given Mac user the short end of the stick. For example, in order to download device updates from the VZW website, you need to use Windows to install it as the files are all .exe files.
