Default Email Delivery

I got a question about email delivery on my BB Storm.
I set up my home email account using BIS. Its from my local cable provider.
It works great. My question is when i send emails from my storm I get a little check mark with a "D" for delivered beside my message. That is great.
But when i get home at the end of the day and check my emails on my PC, I get a confirmation email that says my emails from the Storm were delivered.
So, I went into my email options on my storm and turned delivery notification off. This solves the problem of not getting the confirmation emails delivered to my home PC, but it also removes the little "D" beside my sent messages on my Storm.
Is there a way to keep the little "D" on the Storm but not have it send a confirmation email that arrives in my inbox on my home PC?
Thanks.

The answer is no .. The little D is a graphic representation of the fact that you had delivery confirmation.
