When I try to use voice dialing, it prompts me for a command but doesn't do anything. Initially it tried to dial the number after I pressed one of three names it responded with and then it just froze with the word dialing but it never dialed.

I stopped at a verizon store and they said I had to train it first. But it does the same thing. Asks me to say the numbers and when I do it does nothing.

Any advice?

shut if off, pull the battery for a minute or so. at least that's what worked for me. must be some software glitch.

Also take a look at Vlingo which also provides this service I believe.
