hi guys. i have the bold bought it 28 days ago.
i got 3 days to return it. i would love to get the storm instead BUT the lack of WIFI kills it for me...
is there any company in the world selling the storm with wifi?
should i return the bold and wait?
what do you guys think?

Unless you know somebody with inside access to RIM, the Storm (in any part of the world) doesn't have WiFi, so if that is really the deal breaking feature for you, you may want to keep the Bold.

The Storm 9520 will have wifi and will be available in Canada. No ETA on the phone.

The Storm, currently, does not have WiFi. I did hear of a version that was being speculated to have WiFi, but nothing has been confirmed, as far as I can find. I have the Bold as well as the storm, and honestly, they aren't too different. I actually prefer the Bold.

Yah, he is right, the Storm with wifi is coming to Rogers network which is in Canada but their hasn't been any mention yet of what's the date or month. I would take some advice from princess up here cuz she's used both. Maybe you should pm her and find out more info as I have not yet used the bold and can't tell you which one is worth keeping regardless of WIFI.

The Storm definately was released without a lot of features that it iPhone has, such as wifi....

What advantages does WiFi have on a phone. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you have a data package why would you need WiFi. Before having the Storm I had the Samsung Omnia for a week and it had WiFi and it didnt seem to make a difference to me, just my opinion. Maybe I'm missing something could someone shed some light on the subject.

The Storm is advertised as a 3g phone, but downloading webpages and attachments with the Storm is still faster with WiFi than over the Verizon CDMA network. Some say that the 2g EDGE is even faster. The fact is that 3g network speed is dependant on 2 things: the phone you use and the network speed where you are located. People in LA may get faster than people in Atlanta on ATT's 3g network in other words. WiFi only depends on the phone. Older Blackberrys weren't very fast with WiFi, newer ones are faster because of the processor in the phone. Samsung phones may be way faster on 3g than Blackberrys (not known for being all that fast on 3g btw).
