1user interface is the most important part of gadgets. Is there a fast easy way to hide buttons you dont like and reorder the rest?
1.1 why is there a half button/ half wallpaper screen instead of just buttons all the way? My wallpaper is not that important but each button is ideally a usable function i now have to dig for.
1.2 why would they ever think every user will use every feature? Just let us reinstall things we want back later and leave all the configuration effort on the user. The device itself requires general computer knowledge so running the software that came with it doesn't seem a big leap.

2 why is there no iphone comparable 1 click into app button for common search sites like mapquest/ imdb /goodle ect. (a stored shell that you input into but no internet activity is done until you begin searching for the content.) -its really annoying to take 10 minutes to start mapquesting each time. (and yes i set bookmarks and have cookies)

3why is (even with restrictive data settings and low res pics) the internet so ridiculously slow? (even for mobile google). phone vs net cant be that drastically different in transmission speeds.
3.1 can it pick up my wireless router to increase speed for internet access?

4 is the OS restricted? (because i will happily android this phone out if blackberry OS keeps me in the dark ages to protect their non existent but "potential" income (from me). or if android wont run i could happily return the phone. I don't "not like" blackberry. I'm just laying it out there. I have no allegiance. But i require function. so if they wont let me do things I'll go somewhere else. But I'd like to know what i can and cant do first.

5 Why are there so few apps on the website?

6 can it run open source apps?

7 what are some useful blackberry "things to know"

8 can iturn off the screen orientation feature and just leave it in widescreen mode always? (it glitches sometimes during use beacuse of minor motion)

9 is there a way to "beam" my phone number and contact info to someone rather than make them manually insert it?

10 what is the purpose of having the menu button open a mini menu over the menu when you hold it in?

11 how do you close a keyboard that pops up when you dont want it? (clicking elsewhere just magnifies the screen im trying to view while keeping the keyboard up.

12.1 why are installed aplications not made into buttons on main menu?

14 does it learn my typing habbits as i use it? (most notably v keybutton being left oriented when i hit with right thumb)

forum searches often give incorrect results being either too specific or too vague. Its better to ask people in a direct format where they get back to you at their leisure but directly address the questions.

You do know that most of your "why" questions are basically unanswerable, since so very RIM techs make themselves known here... but we can surmise with the best of them.

No. You can use your phone to connect to the internet on your laptop, but not the other way around.
