Just got the Storm (just like new from eBay), but the strangest thing happens. I let the phone charge a few hours lastnight, everything seems to work flawlessly, then I unplug it from the wall and it completely just dies after a few minutes althought the battery power says 100% (I checked under status). The only way to get it on again is to connect the wall charger and I get the completely dead battery icon (battery with lightening) for about 10 minutes then it starts this weird cycle of trying to reboot over and over.

I can only get it to properly start if I take the charger cord out when it's rebooting and then put it back in after a minute or so so it doesn't die.

As long as it's plugged in it works great. I have to believe it's the battery, or at least I am hoping it's the battery so it's a simple matter of ordering a new one.

I'm in the Bahamas and getting a replacement Storm is near impossible. (I did realize that the phone is still using .65 OS - not sure if that matters)

Any help would definitely be appreciated.

The meter within the storm likely is not calibrated correctly to the actual battery charge. Leave it charge for several hours. A completely dead battery takes a while to revive, like 5-6 hours.

Then, stay connected to the wall charger and remove the battery, replace and boot the device. Allow it to come on and then let it remain charging as long as needed.

try that and report back.

Okay, I just left the phone on charge all day today, will update you guys when I get home this evening of any changes.
