Default how do I clear all my info from storm?

Please Login to Remove!

My first post on here, great forum great info, without this forum the Storm would have gone back for sure!

now love it, got used to it and totally happy with what it does.

but... the call button has fallen off! vodafone have been excellent and are replacing it tomorrow - guess i'll have to update the OS as soon as it arrives and reload all my apps, but is there a simple way to backup everything on the old one and reload it all onto the new one?

I am guessing NO,

so how do I clean all my info from the old handset before it goes away?

thanks experts!

Wilf

Welcome to the forums.

Run a backup using Desktop Manager to backup all the data on your device.

Follow these steps to backup 3rd party apps : http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-...arty-apps.html

Or when you get the new device, and you still have the current device on hand, run the switch device wizard.

To remove all data from your device, go to Options > Security Options > General Settings > Menu Key > Wipe Handheld.

Not dumb questions, and no need to apologize.

Yes, the switch device wizard will copy over your 3rd party software and settings.
