Default storm and itunes

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone tell me why I cant transfer some songs to my storm?

I had several cd's that I purchased and downloaded to my itunes libraby and I tried to sync them through bb desktop manager with no luck..
if I paid for the music, which I did through itunes..why wont it let me sycn it to wherever I want to?

Also is there any way to get streaming xm on the storm?

I know there is a site called xtreamxm.com/mobile or something like that for the storm but i cant seem to get into it..

thank you for any info

If you bought the albums on iTunes they are not MP3 files that the storm plays and they are DRM. You would need to purchase them as enhanced from iTunes for them to be DRM free and be MP3.

To be able to do this the easiest (but most time consuming) is burn the songs to CD then re import them as MP3. You will lose quality by doing this.

There are also tools you can get that convert your songs from the iTunes M4A format to MP3.
convert m4a to mp3 - Google Search

Also, you'll want to change your iTunes import settings so that it saves songs from your CDs in MP3 format rather than the default, which I believe is AAC.

why pay if there are so many for free? make sure it can strip the DRM for you before you purchase.
