Last night I noticed that my storm went to a black screen when I clicked to check my e-mail. The screen is black but not off. You can see the device was powered up still. I shut the phone off and turned it back on and everything seemed fine. I charged the phone overnight. When I woke up this morning I tried to check messages and phone did the same thing. I tried other functions on the phone such as going into the applications folder and the options folder and the same thing happened. I could not get seem to get this to stop. I tried a battery pull for a couple of minutes. Still the problem was happening. I tried to restart the device. still the same issue. I installed 2 programs yesterday, I was not sure if they had anything to do with this. The programs were Slacker Radio & the Full version of Documents To Go with the PDF viewer. I tried uninstalling Slacker Radio and did a restart after the uninstall. So far the problem hasn't repeated itself. Now this was the second restart of the device. Maybe that has more to do with it than anything else. I just hope this doesn't happen again. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this? By the way I am using the Verizon .75 OS.

Use the phone for a while. If all is well, reinstall Slacker. If the problem repeats itself then I would call that a clue.
