Default How to transfer ringtone

Please Login to Remove!

I used the desktop manager option to change BB devices. Virtually everything transferred nicely except my old ringtone which was the T-mobile "jingle" ringtone which was pre-installed on the old phone. The new phone is a branded Vodafone and I cannot figure out how to get the T-mobile ringtone on it. Theres no problem to obtain the ringtones I installed myself on the old phone, but the pre-installed T-mobile jingle isnt on the new phone. Help please.

Have you tried enabling mass media mode and dragging the file over to your ring tone folder? DM is too much of a hassle IMO

I tried but it doesnt work. I dont get any files available on the old phone even though I have the media support enabled. After connecting by USB I do not get any device indication on the computer. This does work for the new phone, but I cannot figure out how to get the ringtone off the old one.

I would just DL the tone you want off the net. Try crackberry.

the easiest way to get ringtones to a blackberry is from a third party site. I use Download or Text Free mobile ringtones from Bongotones, the ringtone hub Its real easy to use and the best part is that its free. try it

Modojo,

Do you have any affiliation with that site? You've posted it a good amount of times tonight. Please don't spam here.
