Siffleu, your Storm comes with a factory screen protector on it.

I am on my second Storm, the first had one of the Verizon screen protectors installed on it at the store the day of purchase. On this current one I have left it as is. I also am using a silicon sleeve to protect the body of the phone. The screen sensitivity is better without the protector and so far I have had no issues with scratching.

I have researched several shields extensively. All requiring wetting the phone with an application fluid - a prospect that doesn't thrill me. I have examined phones with ZAGG, BSE, and Body Guardz applied. In all honesty, even though there is genuine protection added, the shields make the body of the phone look worse - "cheap" is the best word. I would not apply any of them to a Storm.

I have discovered that ZAGG shields make the touch screen lose sensitivity and make the screen sticky to the touch. Just go to Youtube, type in "Zagg Storm", and examine the videos. There are two that convinced me NOT to buy a Zagg.

I have learned BSE and BG are good but I am not going to wet my Storm. I am sure it will likely be ok but that's my choice.

If my factory screen protector gets ratty, I am going to use the Verizon screen protectors which cost $9 for three at any VZW store. I had one on my first Storm and it was perfectly fine. The first one was going strong when I made my warranty return.

I do not know of Clarivue's effect on the Storm screen but if it requires wetting to apply, you know my stance.

I agree with XelhaBB. I've tried various screen protectors on my Storm and have decided to go without one. The touch screen sensitivity is impacted by a protector, less so with factory one or the ones in the VZW store. YMMV
