Check for threads on "tethering". There is an associated cost with this.

You are better off getting Verizon's wireless internet service. If you surf alot, get the $60 plan. You can also use this as your primary internet. Just unplug it at home and take it with you.

Tethering is an expensive pain in the butt.

Download VZAccess Manager. It is pretty straight forward and works pretty easy.

You do NOT need VZAccess Manager. All you need it the BB Device Manager, which gets installed when you install the BB Desktop Manager.

Search for posts from me for detailed instructions.

Teathering is CHEAP...$15 per month...only limitation is that you can't use it while you're on the phone, but it will suspend your network connection and pick up where you left off, you don't get disconnected.

I travel for business about once a month, and with most hotels charging $10 - $12 per day for internet, teathering is a great option. Pays for itself for the year in the first 2 months.

Mine is 30$ a month for 5 Gig vs 60$ a month for the air card. Works great as a modem. VZ Access manager is simple to use.
