I did some searches on case/holders and am curious about your own personal likes and dislikes, what cases worked for you/didn't work for you and why. For my 8830, I was using it's included leather holster and a silicone gel slip until the belt attachment broke. I ended up switching to a Seidio snap on plastic case with the rubber coating and put my 8830 in my pocket.

I'm up in the air with my Storm. I tried a hard shell snap case from Verizon and although it fit the phone, it caused the right side buttons to act strange as I detailed in another post. So now I'm up in the air about whether to go with a Seidio Innocase II or go with a horizontal leather case and wear it on my belt.

What have you found to be the best for you? What didn't work out as you hoped?

I would be interested in this as well, as I'm thinking about getting both the Innocase II and the horizontal leather case.

Don't get the hardshell case from Verizon. It fits the phone but it puts too much pressure on the sides of the phone when snapped together causing some of the side buttons to react funny. I proved it to my local Verizon store tonight, they were skeptical that a case would do this but they saw it first hand. I'm really leaning towards the Innocase II.
