i just bought and unlocked the 9530, then loaded the .76 update.
The phone locks when it starts up....have to press the unlock button to access the screen.
Is there a menu item that disables this ? i just don't want it locking auto at startup

what should i select in there ?

-Go to Options>Password

Disable Password and you may want to also set Lock Handheld Upon Holstering to No.

-Your device may have an IT Policy that is forcing a password to be used. Go to Options>Security Options>General Settings - scroll down and look for IT Policy Name.

the device is locking the screen only after a reboot. when i just turn it off/on without taking the battery out, it does not lock.

all the settings in password and security are set correctly, don't see anything that can be adjusted for power-on behavior.

since i don't pull the battery more than once every few days, it's not a problem for me.
