I own a BB Storm, locked by Vodafone Italy. Can I use it abroad, with a different provider, to send emails and SMS's ??
Please reply, I need to know. Thanks.

It would need to be unlocked and the new SIM would have to be provisioned with a BB data plan. You would also need to cancel or suspend your BIS account so the PIN and IMEI could be used with another carrier.

Not bad.
Can I at least make phone calls, with the existing SIM ? I guess the next question would be: how do I unlock it ??
