Default Storm usb port help!

Please Login to Remove!

I just received a storm bought through ebay and when i tried to charge it, xxx921; discovered that I cannot put the mini usb in the port. It looks like the shape of the port is different from the shape of the charger. Isnt the storms port the same as any other mini usb port? Comparing to my Bolds port the difference is big and obviously i cannot use the same charger!!! Is the phone damaged or am I missing something? Any ideas?

Wirelessly posted

As far as I know the Storm has a micro usb socket, somewhat smaller than mini. It sounds as if you have the wrong charger, you should contact the seller and see what they have to say. Alternatively, I have a "nokia" car charger for my Storm, maybe you could buy the equivalent mains unit?

For Sure! The Storm uses a Micro USB port.....all other BB's (to my knowledge) use Mini

You can always pick up a couple of mini-to-micro USB adapters:

Motorola Micro USB Adapter [OEM] SKN6252
