Default storm chasing

OK so i've narrowed my search to a storm or a bold, the bold seem to get loads of good reviews, but this is not the same for the storm, so here a couple of questions,

What is the latest firmware available? 99? or is 103 official?

Have newer firmwear updates cured the signal strength problem? UK

Has battery life improved with latest updates?

Please list any other major gripes you're finding still with latest firmware.

the latest official OS available for the 9500 Storm is .100, from Orange Greece, see the sticky note at the top of this 9500 section.

I don't know about your UK signal strength issue.

OS updates really don't solve battery life so much as NOT leaving applications running in the background does. What happens in many cases, a user notices extreme battery drain, does an OS upgrade ( which requires several power off/on of the the device and stops all processes from running.

So... the user notices great battery life all of sudden (no apps running or misbehaving in the background).

If you want a review of the latest available OS versions, please look in the Beta software section for that, at the .100 thread at the top of this 9500 section.. There is no reason to start a whole new thread here doing the same.
