Default Tmobile password?

Please Login to Remove!

I had a Storm 9530 and a Verizon account. I called Verizon and got the unlock code and unlocked the Storm. To test it, I took my AT&T SIM and put it in the Storm and it worked fine.

I sold the Storm to someone with a Tmobile account and now he emailed me asking for the "password". What password? I never set up a password on the Storm. He says the Storm isn't ulocked, although I know it is.

What "password" could this be? Is it his Tmobile SIM that's causing the password request? If it's Tmobile causing the problem, will they help him with whatever password he needs?

Thanks for any advice,
David

This is most likely a t-mobile feature. lots of GSM carriers use sim security that links the phone and sim so that if you sim card or phone is stolen it cannot be used. He needs to put his sim card back in his t-mobile phone and disable all security.

I have my storm unlocked and just put a t-mobile sim in it the other day and it works just fine. Either that or tell him to get a replacment sim card from t-mobile.

Does this mean if I "unlock" my phone, I could have access to my old sim card on my AT&T account?
