Default First Day With Storm: Major LOVE/HATE situation

Please Login to Remove!

OK, let's face it, this thing is still half-baked. I'm not going to waste our time rehashing that.

First, I love most of the touchscreen aspect of the Storm and of course, the screen is gorgeous.

But there's so much to hate.

First, it's absurd that the virtual keyboards take up so much space that you can't really view more than a few lines of an e-mail you're (trying to) tap out.

And typing sucks. I'll give it time, but I don't think I'll be keeping this thing... (keep an open mind!).

So here's one MAJOR frustration. On my 8703, I kept my sent messages hidden, but could just hit Alt-O at any time to see my sent messages. Is there any QUICK, EASY way to do this?

It just seems like everything that was a quick shortcut away takes so many presses on the Storm.

Really wondering if this is a serious business device... I feel like my productivity has gone down the toilet.

Give it time... give it time... (loving Slacker!)

You can see much more of your email text if you type with the multi tap screen, other than that, its just a matter of scrolling through your email to see what you want to see.

If you want to see what you have typed, highlight the top of the keyboard (without clicking) and slide your finger down and the keyboard will dissapear!

Give it 5-7 days. I hated my Storm the first day as well.

The only two things I still hate about it are the bugs in the software, and the fact that the shortcut keys aren't right there (P = Previous, N = Next, etc.).

I've handled the Curve and now the Storm. Ill take touch screen ANY DAY over that tiny track ball. I also see the landscaped touch Qwerty as superior to the smaller physical Qwerty on the Curve.
