can someone please help me, i uninstalled DM 4.6 to install the 4.7 that comes with the storm, to use on my bold and storm, now it doesnt recognize any of them, in the sidebar on the bottom right side of the screen there is thwe little icon with an "X" on it and the DM is empty, no options there.

vista or xp?

when you uninstalled DM go into c:/program files/common files/research in motion and rename that file to something else then reload the 4.7. I had to reload 4.7 twice to get my storm to be recognized and all the drivers to work right. if you are running in vista make sure you give it and load it with admin privs.

Try rebooting your computer

im on XP SP3.
i rebooted and now he sees them.
