Default Contact Images

I copied a few sample 300x300 contact pics that I used on my old phone to my Storm to see how they would be handled. When I attempted to add one to a contact, a pre-formatted crop region was over the image, and it wasn't adjustable.

Is this crop region 360x480? I'd like to trim up all of my contact images before I copy them over to the device, so this info would help.

Alright, so I cropped a couple images to 360x480 and copied them to my phone. When adding the image to the contact, the crop region doesn't snap to the edges of the image. When I zoom out once, the crop region is a bit outside the edges of the image. When I zoom out a second time, the crop region is a bit inside the edges of the image.

Even after toying with "fit to screen" and "view actual size", this region's dimensions are still ambiguous.

I guess some of you have already played with this and realize that the contact image is the size of a tiny little fingernail, just about the size of the image on the contact entry itself.

All of that screen real estate and the Storm can't display a larger image size? Psh.

I know this doesnt really help cause I cant remember the name of the program,(contact..something) lets you use a large contact picture across the whole screen. If i remember correctly this was also a paid app.

Hope it helps, and sorry.
