Question VZ Nav...Crap or not?

Please Login to Remove!

so lately i have been noticing that my storm has been rather sluggish so i went through and cleaned out all programs that i dont use. nothing seemed to help, so as im sitting here bored i decided to uninstall vznav even though it prompts me and tells me that it is in use. so i uninstalled and rebooted, wow, what a difference, the phone is faster and the browser seems to be quite a bit faster. was not that impressed with the program anyway.

so my general question is this, am i the only one who has had this experience?

Well, I don't know that the VZ Nav program is crap.. it works well enough for my needs. I'm running 4.7.0.103 and that is the best OS I've used. Not really having any trouble with it.

But I might try your suggestion and see what results I get.

I actually love VZ Nav.. I have google maps too but love the fact that Nav will tell me miles ahead of traffic that it is on the horizon!!

No your not the only one, I have read many posts that relate basically the same results you got from removing VZ Nav.

I love my VZnav. I use it frequently as a traveling nurse and it has never led me wrong, tells me when there is traffic, lets me detour and all. I'm running V.109 and it rocks. Never caused me any issue.

I use it and like some of the features better than our high end TomTom. For instance, it may tell there is congestion 3.6 miles or that there is a traffic incident 2.1 miles ahead.
