I have a custom sound profile, and when I have that set and then lock the screen, I get no sound for text messages. If I use the built in LOUD scheme then I do. I am trying to figure out why this is the case, but I am not sure what I am doing wrong

my SMS settings are as follows:
Ring Tone: notifier_eager
Volume: 10
LED: Normal Setting
Vibration: ON
Notify Me During Calls: YES

Another noob question: what is the difference between the settings in "Set Ring Tones/Alerts" vs the settings in the sound profile?
