Hi there, there are quite a few threads on this in the Storm section. I'd suggest checking there as this isn't really carrier related.

give me a "S"
give me a "E"
give me a "A"
give me a "R"
give me a "C"
give me a "H"

...what does that spell, SEARCH!

Just kidding...let us know if you need any help or further instructions doing this. I am actually doing it right now. I installed the service books for AIM and my browser disappeared so I have to reload the generic service books to get it back.

Later,
Scott

downloading and installing Desktop Manager will get you the drivers needed.

You will get the Shared folder once you have installed the OS to your PC.

Indeed... go to this new stickie Unlocked Storm on AT&T or T-Mobile and look at the directions.

Separately, you can get your OS from the main 95xx forums here. Make sure you select the one appropriate to your version (i.e. 9500 or 9530). Install the OS and the "missing" folder will appear

Do you have the 9500 or the 9530?

If you have the 9500 go here and download the OS for your phone:
Latest OS: 9500 4.7.0.141 / 4.7.0.100 (Multilanguage)

If you have the 9530 go here and download the OS for your phone:
Latest OS: 9530: 4.7.0.109 / 4.7.0.76 From Bell

Once downloaded, install the OS onto your computer. It may take a few minutes. Follow the directions on the download page and the "shared" folder will be there.
