Default wallpaper in landscape mode

Do any of the new themes have the capability to display a wallpaper in landscape mode?

Most themes, like the factory theme, revert to showing all icons in landscape mode.

I am not being antagonistic, but why the heck would you care?

I just think it would be neat. I use landscape a lot. A wallpaper behind the icons would be cool. Different ones fir portrait and landscape would be even cooler.

Oh but you do get to use your own wallpaper with iphones. (Just only on the screen lock page, You know, that for that short second when you turn your screen on and then enter your unlock code to get to the desktop.)

Most themes I have used don't play well with wallpaper.

Additionally, a theme normally has it's own unique background. Seems to me a wallpaper would degrade the whole theme experience.

no what would be really cool is if they came out with a theme builder that would allow "instead" of tilting your storm to landscape and automatically showing all your icons, make it to where you could have it show a wide version of your homescreen..just adjusted to the width dimensions....??? huhuh? i think thats the best idea ever! it would make the storm awsomer! rofl

i mean seriously i like my home screen but i almost all the time hold my storm in landscape mode, it would be a key feature for me i guess. i just hate it when i tilt my berry back during portrait mode, it acts like the phone is laying down and switches to landscape. but im sure its difficult to do such things or it would already have been done...eh.

speaking of which, do you guys know of any apps to lock the orientation? when i wake up in the morning i'm still in bed and it's a pain when your holding your phone in landscape but because you're on your side it's in portrait haha. if not, there should totally be a context menu option to lock the orientation so your screen isnt flipping all the time.
