Tread water haha

seriously thought it got a glass of water spilled on it when i wasnt sitting at the table while having dinner. the waiter(also a BB user) picked it up quickly. when i got back i looked it over, it looked normal. i touched the screen and it didnt respond. i ripped the cover off. removed the battery cover and battery as quick as i could.

shortly after on the ride home i laid it on the defroster in the car with it cranked up all the way. got home ran a blow drier on it for about 5 minutes per side then shoved it into a jar of rice and set the jar on the heater vent.

i know this story isnt original but i guess im looking for someone else who has done similar and everything was ok, meaning a unresponsive screen. it is insured so im good there. if it dries i would rather have mine and not a refurb the insurance would send.

oh and it was my daughter that spilled the water not the waiter

It may be late and you tried some of the steps, but look here

Also, you may have put the battery in too soon.
