Default today my storm got a JCM 102 error???

Please Login to Remove!

So now, I tried going to command prompt and doing the loader.exe /nojvm

but i get a screen after trying to use it saying. something about version doesnt match whats on my computer or something or other and I have to take my phone to the verizon carrier. I'm already a bit upset I have to erase all information on this phone and start from scratch to get it to work. I just met a girl and I'm losing her number! lol This is just frustrating and would like to get it working again. please help with some instructions.
Ahhh I meant JVM 102 error.

Welcome to the forums.

A little bit of info here would be helpful. Why were you trying to run that command? Also "something or other" as an error doesn't really give us much info to work with.

I had been following directions from another website that directed me to use loader.exe /nojvm was the command i believe

anyways, the error states in the window.

"The blackberry desktop software does not have BB device software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or sys administrator"

That command is used to reload an OS on your device if you're having difficulties with the computer detecting the device.

If you weren't having any issues like that, then you shouldn't have used that command.

You most likely wiped the device and when it went to load the OS, it wasn't able to find it on your PC.

Here is the most recent official OS for your device with instructions on how to install it
Latest OS: 9530: 4.7.0.109 / 4.7.0.76 From Bell

Also, what issue were you having that prompted you to run that command?

If you don't have a backup of your data, there's a good chance that you lost it all, including that girl's number.

The JVM 102 error from what i read on multiple forums was that a file had corrupted itself and after trying to pull the battery out of the phone a number of times. I still recieved the error upon booting up the phone again. This really seemed to be the only option I had to go.

after 2hours of researching what solutions I could do. The wiping of the phones memory appeared to be the only option. I would rather have my phone working in a hour or so then some girls number. besides she has mine if she wants to call she will.

back on subject. I just need to get this thing to work i'm so frustrated trying to find the right Os etc. Thank you.

JVM 102 errors usually indicate an invalid .cod in the file system. A lot of times this can happen with a 3rd party application. Did you install anything (app, theme, etc.) on the device previous to receiving this error?

Follow the steps in the link provided and let us know how things go.
