Exclamation Touchscreen Not Responding 9500

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, I'm Newbie...
Recently i just bought 9500 vodafone unlock.

I used v.4.7.0.78
Problems is my touchscreen sometimes not responding in the middle texting SMS or Email.

And the i upgrade to v.4.7.0.78 (platform 4.0.0.136)
It's still sometime not responding during texting.

First i thought it's because the mem clean i set to 5 mins, so every 5 mins it's clean the mem while i'm texting.

I set to disable for the mem cleaning, it's works fine for a couple of days.

Then i put wall paper as background (file stored in the MSD).
The problems occurred again while texting.

Is it because of the units / touchscreen or the wallpaper or mem clean setting ?

Does anybody had the same experience as me ??

Please advise

You can keep the Memory Cleaner disabled. It really serves only the purpose to wipe your already deleted memory space to a higher secure standard such as might be required for goverment use.

There's another thread where somebody said that their Storm was unresponsive due to the cold environment they where in...sometimes..very rarely though..my storm will not respond to a few taps in the morning...too cold I guess...

xxDruMMer BoYxx,

that was me. It was cold here when I had my first Storm unit. One evening I was at an outdoor event and kept my Storm in my front shirt pocket. As the unit cooled down the screen became unresponsive from the edges emanating inward as it got progressively colder. I was running .75 at the time and began doing battery pulls in effort to remedy the issue. On a whim, I went to one of the catering tents and held my Storm by a heating vent. Sensitivity slowly returned beginning at the center of the screen and emanating outward. The edges remained unresponsive until the middle of the following day. By then I had already visited my VZW store and ordered a warranty exchange model - the one I am on now.

I cured this matter by keeping my Storm warm when in cold outdoor environments. Usually under my coat as close to my body as possible. But cold weather - below 30 degrees does affect sensitivity if the screen gets chilled. I tested this again by placing my current Storm on a table while at another outdoor event during cold weather. The edges of the screen again became unresponsive. When I returned the Storm next to warmth the problem slowly disappeared over the course of a couple hours.

I noted that the original threadster has a Storm 9500. I am willing to bet if he installs .113 and keeps the phone warm his issue should be cured. It's worth a try.

The touchscreen is not responding again , also during texting again.
I sent an email and then i went to BB messenger to reply a text, it's suddenly won't response.

Probably is related to the processor and memory process in the 9500.
You cannot do simultaneously task at the same time and required to exit/close any unused application/task.
This is my observations....
