with my Bold...Smart Card Options causing the back-up to fail. Ended up using Advanced to complete the back-up, but can't find the "cure".
Have done -
- Re-installed BDM 4.7 (removed vendor.xml file)
- Hard reboot of device (cntrl-alt-delete)
- Memory Cleaning
Have had other BDM back-up errors, but have always found the answer here in the forums...in advance, thanks...RB
