Default Unable to download upgrade from AppWorld?

I purchased MyTasks from AppWorld and after installation, there is a message from AppWorld telling me an upgrade is available. When I click upgrade, it first asks me if I want my old version replaced by the new version. When I select yes, however, it gives me a message that there is a connection problem with AppWorld and then the program closes out to desktop. Anybody else have this issue and is there anything that can be done?
