Hi guys,

Just a couple of questions about verizon's storm: First the app center, I've read to much about it, some good apps you can download from it, I tried on my storm there are just the IM and the Verizon's apps (like visual voicemail or Vcast), so, what happened with the other apps i've read about, is it because i'm with verizon that i don't have access to any other app in this app center??

Another different question, I never had any CDMA phone before, just GSM. In GSM phone you're always going to have carrier's name on the top of your screen, in my storm I used to have "verizon wireless" but now I have nothing, what happened with it? is it normal? can i change it and put something in that space??

You've downloaded this BlackBerry - BlackBerry App World Download ? there are plenty of apps there , other than vcast and IM software . As for the the Carrier branding at the the top of the phone, I believe it's only there until you register with the carrier . If you're not with Verizon there are ways of removing it . To answer your question yes it is normal for it to disappear after activation .

well, if it's normal to disappear after activation, then it's ok.
About the app center, I didn't download it, it came with my phone when activated.. should I download this one from the link you gave me?

Go ahead and download from that link, the app store you are referring to is the Verizon one that comes with the phone . Two total different app stores .
