Default Say it isn't so!! Screen looks worse with new updates??

I just browsed a thread that said after .75, the newer releases screw up screen quality by reducing colors to the point that it no longer appears the way it does in .75? IF that's the case, count me as yet another soon-to-be FORMER BB owner. The .75 on my 2 phones now suck beyond belief. Every day I have to call tech support for some issue. Today, my phone lost the ability to vibrate or ring with incoming calls. It was yet another glitch that took about a half and hour with tech support to resolve. I'm spending far too much time messing with my and my wife's new Storms. I can't go a day without something major happening to one or both of them.

How do people people put up with all the hassles of a Storm? It has great call quality, but the interface, reboots, memory leaks all make it a very lousy experience.

Ok.

It isn't so.

I am using .122 for the 9530, and there is no color banding that I can see.

I just went from .75 to .113 and have found nothing to support this claim whatsoever. I find it difficult to believe that RIM would develop a platform that has similarities to the iPhone and then mess up one of the key features in a bunch of updates and then release those updates, beta or otherwise.
