Default Help with email.....

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, this is something that has been annoying me a lot. Do any of you guys and gals know what I can do to stop the notifications when I send an email? If I send an email on my blackberry or my gmail account online it sends me either a notification that the email was sent or sends me a copy of the email that I just sent. Also, is there any way for me to make it so that when I read an email on my blackberry it is marked as read in my inbox on my gmail account and then also the other way around so that when I read an email in my inbox it is marked as read on the blackberry? Thank a million!

Take a look here
HOT! New BIS 2.6 features released by RIM; expect rollout soon | BlackBerryNews.com

The article is pretty old and BIS 2.6 is released now. You should just need to resend your service books and it will resolve all of your issues.

I would then suggest you delete your Gmail account and then re-add it.

Ok I have done it, now just waiting for everything to go through. Just re-adding my account will make it stop doing those things?

It should for Gmail. If you read the article about BIS 2.6 it listed the updates.

If not here are the updates:

Quote:
* IMAP integration of Gmail® webmail accounts. This integration protocol introduces the following benefits:

* Elimination of duplicate Gmail messages appearing as received email messages; and
* One-way synchronization of read status, sent items, and deleted items.
* GMail accounts which were integrated before BIS 2.6 will require deletion from the BIS and setting that account back up on the new BIS (which basically provides for the new service book to be pushed to your device).

I read that but I was not sure if I needed to do something special. I added this account only a month ago. I will see how it goes.
