Is there a way to see what applications may be running in the background?:bb:

Welcome to the forums.

Press the menu key and select switch application, that will give you a list of all running applications.

So what ever icons pop up is what is running?

jsconyers 04-14-2009 02:22 PM

Yes, keep in mind you will always have 5 icons running: Home, Browser, BB Messenger, Messages, and Call Log.

Thanks a bunch. I hope this will help me see whats eating my battery

It should if you keep an eye on it. Make sure you're closing your applications when you're not using them by pressing the menu key and select close/exit.

You can also just hold down the Blackberry button (no need to click on "swotch application)"

Hmm, I always have BB Messenger, Application Center, Home Screen, Browser, Messages, TalkLock and Phone. These are what comes up on a fresh boot.
