I read on another forum that the storm comes with Outlook for your computer, is this true? I just set up windows mail and an having a terrible time trying to sync my contacts and calender please help.

Your device is synced with "Desktop Manager". You have to set up the configure sync option in DM before syncing and Outlook is probably the best calender to sync with. You will only be able to configure with the programs listed in your DM program.

Outlook doesn't come with the BB Software.

Windows mail is very problematic at this time. Not sure why, but I think it is a Microsoft issue, not a BB one,

I suggest you do a search on Windows Live mail and see if you can find a solution.
