Hi storm mates,

I would wish to know, did you noticed that your typing speed had dropped when you switched to storm due to its touch-screen? :(

Do you find it a pain to typing and finding the symbols..etc on the touchscreen?

Yes, but only temporary. Give it time... adjust your keyboard settings per the notes in the thread at the top of the 9500 section.

Took me a little bit to get used to the touch screen.... Now I believe I type as fast as I did on my old 8703e. Check the thread "Setting for a Better Storm Keyboard" after I changed somethings in the settings, it was much improved even when I was a rookie on the phone

I agree. I type a little slower. For quick messages, I can type on the Suretype screen almost as fast. The full keyboard is a little slower.

I came from a pearl that used SureType and I cannot type nearly as fast on my Storm. The phone simply cannot keep up even with the keyboard settings adjusted. :(
