When I got my Storm, the manual said that when you charge the phone a lightning bolt appears over the battery indicator, and goes away when fully charged. No matter how long I charge my phone, the lightning bolt never goes away. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there some way to fix it so I know when the phone is fully charged?

Correct, the battery is full and the lightning bolt never fades. Battery pulls do not work.

for me this seems to be the case, but if i leave it plugged in long enough, the lightning bolt goes away....

if your phone has apps running in the background or uses the radio a lot (you see arrows where the signal strength is), then it will just take longer to completely charge the battery...

I'm not sure if that is the case here though, because when I pull off the charger even with the lightning bolt still there, I check the status menu in options to see and it says 100% charged.

Has anyone found any soluction to the charging problem. All things point to bad usb port on bb. It will not charge from computer or from with ac from the wall.

if it doesnt charge all the way, it might be a bad battery. if not at all, its def a battery a battery n u should swap it out asap

I am having the same problem with the battery. In status it says 100% but the lightning bolt never goes away. I had a problem with my car charger and got a new car charger, after I charged with it the first time the lightning bolt went away. It also went away when charged on AC. After that it went back to the lightning bolt never going off again.

I used to have that problem but found that if I turned off the clock screen (which comes on when you plug in the charger) and just let the screen blackout the lightning bolt would go away at 100% charge.

I notice that when I charge in the holster the icon will go off at 100%, however when I charge out of the holster the Icon will never go off.
