I have set the camera picture size to Large (2048 x 1536). The size of any picture I take will be either Medium (1024 x 768) or Small (640 x 480). Only twice the size of pictures I took were Large (2048 x 1536). Why the size of pictures I take is not Large (2048 x 1536) all the time. I have changed the camera picture size back and forth from Large to Medium, and then to Large but it didn't fix the problem.

I'm guessing here, but maybe its a space issue. Maybe where you are storing your images don't have enough space to store that size image.

I have set my pictures to be stored on the Media Card, and its 8GB card and I have plenty of space left on that. The picture I take goes back and forth from small to median and large.

Don't zoom. When the Storm camera "zooms" it does not do an optical zoom by changing the focal length of the lens. The Storm does a "digital zoom" that uses fewer pixels and just makes them larger.

Thank you so much for the solution to my problem. You are absolutely right, zooming was causing picture size/quality problem.
