Default storm and 3d?

Please Login to Remove!

does anyone know if the qualcomm chipset in the storm has 3d accleration in it?
I tried running pool lite on it a few days ago with no luck..the performance is not playable.
Im guessing whilt the chipset does have 2d/3d, the sw isnt designed to take full advantage of it just yet..

that sound right? has anyone run a 3d game well?

not that the storm is a gaming machine because it was not intended to be, but youd think with anyone device of this caliber it would have decent 3d..not like psp or anything, but something...or does it??
heck even my older treo 700wx ran 3d games well..
for a pda it wasnt bad at all..
nothing like a psp or anything close, but for the ones i ran, they ran well

MSM7600 CPU I think is whats in the storm and on paper seems to be pretty powerful..dual core and all...sounds good..

im guessing its the bb os that isnt using the software, right?

would make sense after all the hardware is only as good as the softwaredrirvers.. to run it..
